Description:
A Shropshire Lad (AUSled) is a classic English shrub rose bred by David Austin in 1997. Vigorous plants reach 120‑185 cm in height with a spread of 90‑150 cm, suitable for shrub borders or trained as a short climber. Large shallow‑cupped rosette blooms display lovely apricot‑pink tones that lighten along petal margins, while petal backs hold a saturated deep pink hue. It bears numerous delicate feather‑like petals and releases a rich old‑rose aroma blended with fruity notes. Repeat‑flowering from late spring through until the first frost.
